Methods of Payment

We are happy to be adding PayPal as a new payment option for our web store customers...more ways to make your shopping Easy and Fun.

For our customers shopping our on-line store, the following methods of payments are acceptable:

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover/Novus
  • ATM cards with Visa and MasterCard logos only
  • Naartjie Kids Gift Cards and Electronic Gift Cards
  • Paper Gift Certificates and Merchandise Credit vouchers currently cannot be used for on-line purchases.
  • PayPal for customers shopping our web store.

For customers shopping by phone or via e-mail in our participating retail stores, payments must be made using any of the accepted credit cards noted above.

Sorry, we cannot accept payment by check or money order for phone orders, email orders or on-line orders.

Customer Holds

As a special service and convenience to our customers, we do allow for in-store merchandise holds under the following guidelines:

  • In-store holds will be a maximum of 2 days
  • In-store hold items must be purchased within the 2 day hold period or they will removed from hold on the start of the third day.
  • Phone and e-mail based orders through a retail store may not be held for shipping longer than 5 days to facilitate the completion of the order and shipping process.

Price Adjustments

Web Policy

For online purchases we offer a onetime price adjustment within 7 days of the date of original purchase. For an online adjustment please e-mail us at and include your original transaction number and specify your request.

A credit will be processed on the credit card used for the original purchase. Price adjustments will not be allowed on some orders that receive promotion discounts (e.g. Kids Kash). Online orders can only receive price adjustments as a result of a change to the price of the item at Online orders cannot receive price adjustments in our retail stores.

Please note that this adjustment policy may not apply on individually specified special promotions where “no price adjustment on prior sales” is specified.

Store Policy

Our US retail stores offer a onetime price adjustment when an original sales receipt is presented within 7 days of the original purchase date. All adjustments are refunded in the original form of payment. Online purchases cannot receive price adjustments in retail stores.

Please note that this policy may not apply on individually specified special promotions where “no price adjustment on prior sales” is specified.

Returns & Exchanges
Easy Returns

Naartjie Kids has now made it even easier for you to make a return. If you have an item that does not meet your satisfaction and meets our return guidelines below, simply click the Easy Return link below to enter your information and print a return label right at home. 

Using Easy Returns allows you to track your return online and provides fast service, with packages arriving at our facility in 2 to 5 business days. How's that for easy and convenient?

Please note that items over 10 pounds must be dropped off at a UPS facility (Find a UPS shipping location). This label is only good in the 48 contiguous states – HI, AK, other US territories and international must return via standard return methods.

Returns & Exchanges

The Naartjie Kids Team, from design through manufacturing, takes great pride in the high standard of quality of our merchandise.

  • Our clothing surpasses the industry standard for shrinkage and color fastness
  • Since our clothing is pre-washed and pre-shrunk you do not need to buy a size larger than your children normally wears to allow for shrinkage.
  • We stand behind the quality of our merchandise. Should you experience any quality problems or defects in our merchandise simply return it for a full refund or exchange.

Returning Online Purchases


With every on-line customer web order we ship, we include a detailed packing list or gift receipt. Please keep your receipt to facilitate your mail return/exchange and follow these instructions to return your purchase by mail.

For Internet orders, return items to the Naartjie Kids Online Store address below and include your packing list with a note clearly indicating what you are returning and the reason for the return. Only returns can be accepted. Please review and follow the guidelines below for online order returns:

  • Credits for on-line return orders will be issued in the original form of payment for the purchase price paid or value of merchandise exchanged within 60 days of purchase.
  • Please include original packing list and/or transaction number with the merchandise.
  • Exchanges cannot be processed through our Internet store. In order to purchase different sizes or colors, items must be reordered.
  • Pack your return securely.
  • Packages must be returned prepaid. We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
  • Naartjie Kids will gladly refund shipping charges in the following instances when the appropriate process is followed:
    • Naartjie Kids picked and shipped the wrong item to you.
    • If you feel that the item you received from your online purchase is defective, please contact our online customer service team at
    • In these specific instances, we will also waive shipping charges on the replacement items.

PayPal Returns

If you used PayPal as a payment option on our web store, simply mail your return as outlined above for a credit to your PayPal account.

If you choose to return and/or exchange a PayPal purchase from our web store in a Naartjie Kids USA retail store, we offer the following options for your convenience.

·         We are not able to offer PayPal as a payment option in our retail stores at this time.

·         A PayPal purchase from our web store and returned to a retail store will not be able to be credited to your PayPal account.

·         We are happy to offer a store credit for the return or exchange balance, if you choose to make a PayPal purchased return at one of our USA retail stores.

Store Returns & Exchanges


Naartjie Kids will gladly accept returns or exchanges within 60 days of the original purchase date. Items must be unworn and unwashed with all original tags intact.

  • Bring your purchase receipt, gift receipt or entire packing slip to any Naartjie Kids retail store. With receipt, exchange or return your purchase/order and receive a full refund/exchange in the original form of payment. A 14 day waiting period is required for refunds on check transactions.
  • Without receipt, exchanges will be at current selling price for an item of equal value or we can offer a store credit.
  • Valid identification is required for all returns and exchanges without an original receipt or to receive or redeem a merchandise credit. Valid identification includes driver's license, military ID, state/province issued ID or passport.
  • If your return was a gift, bring in your “gift receipt” to facilitate your return/exchange.

Returns to Store by Mail

For store phone orders, please return items to original store through which the original purchase was placed and include a note clearly indicating what you are returning, the reason for the return and the action to be taken, such as return or exchange. Be as specific as possible regarding your request(s).

  • Credits for returns on phone orders will be issued in the original form of payment for the purchase price paid or value of merchandise exchanged within 60 days of purchase.
  • Exchanges will also be based on price paid and must be made within 60 days of purchase.
  • Please include original receipt, packing list, and/or transaction number with the merchandise.
